Cyberbullying

Today media are very important for the people on the world. 

The new technology are used in various areas of life. 

For example in a school, work or entertainment.   

Don Tapscott in his deliberations say that for young people digital media are like air.

 In my opinion is a great metaphor. 

I think that sometimes the air may be a threat for human. 

For example dangerous for digital natives and digital immigrants is cyberbullying.

 

Cyberbullying– what does it mean?  

 

Cyberbullying it is aggression of electronic.

 The electronic violence can have different variations, for example: 

                 a pinch, 

          a persecution, 

        a bullying, 

        a psychological harassment

Currently, universal is having  digital media, especially in children and adolescents. 

Sometimes digital media are using for bed, harmful actvities.  It is cyberbullying.

 The perpetrators of cyberbullying  do not think about the consequences for victims  (humiliation, 

depression, suicidal thoughts) and for themselves (legal consequences).

                                       Who is at risk of cyberbullying?

       Today in danger of cyberbullying really could be anyone. Mainly because of the 

wide availability of digital media. A group of people who are particularly vulnerable on the  

network are  celebrities.

They are  people which showing various spheres of them life, opinions, views the rest of 

society.

 Sometimes it can  cause a negative perception, in extreme cases, just cyberbullying. 

Another category could provide public officials, for example, teachers or politicians.  

They work with  people,  they have a real  impact on the life of another human being,  

which can also give rise to negative reactions.                           

Cyberbullying is a common phenomenonamong  people linked to a personal relationship. 

Such violence can occur both during the relationship, as well  as after  its completion.  

Can manifest itself in sending negative messages, frequent  phones, harassment  portals.

How to prevent cyberbullying?

 

1. Firstly, you can not leave the violence in the network without reaction because the 

    offender can not feel unpunished.

 2. The victim of violence in the network should report such incident to law enforcement

 3. The legislature should eliminate loopholes in the range of cyberbullying

 4. It is necessary to permanent social campaign for human rights in network

Computer games and online games in society

  The new technology are very important for human on the world.  It have a significant impact on the various spaces of social life, for example professional, social or educational. 

   One of the possible use of new media are computer games and online games.     A game, as inseparable form of entertainment in the world have existed since ancient times, because already accepted bets.  The bets characterized by certain rules.  

 

The winner received gratification but a loser experienced discomfort. From this time a lot of changed... Of course,  people still assume but their role is not significant in terms of entertainment.          

     Today, the dominant form of leisure is the use of various media including computer games and also online games. Why? I think that through diversity, mass availability and interesting character.  

Moreover, have often shown threats for users computer games and online games, for example dangerous content or threat to relationships. Is it true? Are computer    games  more dangerous?  

   In my opinion in computer and online games is huge potential, but its use depends from human which has freedom to decide. So, topic is very interesting and multifaceted...

I have been creating this blog because I attending a course ICT in Society. The decision about choose a blog’ s topic was difficult for me. I want to find a good topic  which is interesting and controversial for reader. In my opinion these are computer games and online games. On the one hand the games are a source of pleasure for human. On the other hand are regarded as dangerous. What is the truth? I think that it is hard question.  However, I believe that necessery is behavior of moderation during the use of new technology.
